A Fine Day for Tam-a-Lau

Linda Frost led a hike on Tam-a-Lau to Lake Billy Chinook on Sunday, April 11.  The flowers were quite nice, especially the Arrowleaf Balsamroot and the phlox.  The camas stalks were up, but no flowers yet.  There were also some Yellow Bells and either alfalfa or onion, and a fair amount of Biscuit Root.

They thought they had discovered a new bird species, but it turned out to be a drone buzzing around.  Great day with very pleasant temperatures.  Other hikers were Ron and Jolynn Lambert, Denise Sevigny, and Pat Haim.
