A Wet Otter Bench

On Sunday June 5th an intrepid group of hikers set out to explore the trails at Otter Bench.   As you can see it was not the brightest or sunshiniest of days.  We set out in a fair to middlin’ rain storm.

It came down hard for about the first forty minutes of our hike.  We intended to do a 6-7 mile route but cut it short at 4 miles due to the weather.

The recent rains however have helped with the array of wildflowers available for viewing along the way.  The Balsam seem to be beyond their peak but some of the others are still enjoyable.
