Big Meadow Blue Poles

Jerry Sebestyen led a group of 8 to the Big Meadow on an in and out ski for a total of roughly 6.5 – 7 miles on Sunday, December 22.  The purpose was primarily to set up blue poles across the Big Meadow.  Despite some icy conditions that made the ski trip an interesting outing we were successful in finding the poles that had been stashed by Susan last week.  The GPS coordinates of the cache weren’t much help, but Charlie’s sharp eye discovered it after several minutes of searching.  The poles were set through Big Meadow to designate the trail when we get another dump of snow in the future.  After lunch we returned down the icy trail.  All of us had at least one fall on the downhill, so it was a fun outing!
