There were only a few takers at the usual gathering place for skiing this Sunday, March 8, since it coincided with the Crater Lake trip. Four folks headed to the Nordic Center with no particular destination in mind, and found that conditions were great for crust cruising. We headed for Big Meadow via an off-trail route, saw only a couple of other skiers, and had a really pleasant ski outing.
