Linda Frost led a small group of seven on a cool and windy hike to Chimney Rock overlooking the beautiful Crooked River on Sunday, June 7. They saw Oregon Sunshine, buckwheat, yarrow, penstemon, and a lone bitterroot; and everyone pitched in to pull a few invasive Mullen growing along the trail. Everyone also got to see Doris showing off her Dirty Girl gaiter! The day was comfortable for hiking but there was a pretty strong wind. Lots of nice clouds in the sky, out of which some rain appeared just as they reached the cars.
