Jerry Sebestyen led ten CONC skiers on a really enjoyable loop Sunday, December 1. They left the Nordic Center at Mt Bachelor and skied into Todd Lake using the common corridor. The meadows were covered in 8 inches of snow and free from any water hazards along the way. They went around the lake staying high above any water traps at the far end of the lake. They returned to the Nordic Center by way of the Water Tower trail and it too was covered in enough snow to be free of standing water that can accumulate in the meadows around the tower. The snow was powdery in the morning and a little sticky by the afternoon, but good weather and good company made it a fine day.
