It won’t be long now. There’s some snow – although not a lot – on the ground near Mt. Bachelor, so volunteers with the Central Oregon Nordic Club undertook one more project marking cross-country ski trails on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
Workers headed out on the Dutchman loop from junction 72 to 89 to 86 for “a long and good day gettin’ stuff done,” says crew leader Susan Sullivan.
The group trudged through a few inches of fresh snow – a reminder that ski season is almost here.
