Roz led a classic key exchange hike on Sunday, November 4. One group of seven started at Smith Rock and hiked uphill to Orchard trailhead on Grey Butte, swapping car keys with another group of three along the way who were making the trek downhill. It was approximately an 8 mile hike with 1500 feet of elevation, so an impressive feat! Besides the scenic panorama views of the mountains, the groups were also rewarded with dazzling displays of digital dexterity by the myriad of climbers at Smith Rock.
