Four hikers and a dog enjoyed a 5-mile hike in the Tumalo Canal Historic Area on a sunny and warm Wednesday afternoon, March 3. The trails were crowd-free and “mostly” dry.
They took a break at the scenic overlook on Whiskey Still Ridge Trail and returned to the parking lot via the Forgotten Field, an open meadow with spectacular mountain views.
