Eight CONC skiers ventured from Santiam Pass to Lower Berley Lake and back on Thursday, February 16, 2023. The route generally followed the Oregon Skyline Trail through a young forest regenerated after the 2003 B&B Complex Fire. The snow on the south aspects had a crust but snow on all other aspects was great. Everyone enjoyed some turns whenever the opportunity presented itself.
