Six CONC skiers did a 12.2-mile Meetup ski trip to the club’s “traditional lunch spot” near the Broken Top bowl on Thursday, March 28.
The group took what club regulars term the “Good View” route to the bowl area.
“The skiing and views and the group were great,” says group leader Gary Kelley. “There was just a tiny bit of crust under a few trees heading up the first mile of the Big Meadow Trail. The rest was a couple of inches of new snow over a good, safe base. We got lucky.”
