24 CONC members congregated at the Mazama Country Inn to ski the Methow Valley February 2-8. The group missed a heavy rain the Saturday before, but the ensuing cold temperatures left many parking lots a virtual skating rink. However, the trails all had been groomed, so ski groups spontaneously formed and tested out various trails. Tuesday night it snowed 4 inches, and the groomers could not keep up with it, but Wednesday night they groomed 114 miles of trails! It warmed up Wednesday and Thursday with a bit of rain late in the after noon, but by that time we were done skiing and inside enjoying aperitifs!
