Sue Sullivan led five skiers out of Swampy SnoPark on Wednesday, January 22. They went up Ridge trail to the Butte trail, then off-trail from the Butte trail to the Swampy Shelter (which was reported to be busy and warm!). Lots of new snow and a well-consolidated base – ski conditions were very nice, which made it a great trip! It gives some hope that when the next round of snow comes along skiing should be good. There is still three feet of snow at the trailhead at Swampy.
