Contributed by Gary Jones. On the second scheduled Sunday Hike of the season, a small but lucky group headed to the Crooked River Canyon to hike the Otter Bench and Canyon Trails on Sunday, April 30. The group saw surprising quantities of wildflowers (especially arrowleaf balsamroot) and enjoyed the fine weather and amazing canyon views.
