A COVID bubble of four took one last ski on Santiam Pass, on Sunday, April 18. The snow on the ski up in the morning was still firm for a good grip, but had perfectly softened for the turns all the way down. In the banter to call the day “Santiam Slalom” or “Hoodoo Helix”, Santiam won; but there were more perfect helices! Apre ski in the parking lot in chairs with beers and chips with salsa ended a perfect day.
