A third group went for a five mile walk-in-the-(Shevlin)-park on Sunday, August 18. They went out high along the west side on the newer Railroad Trail that follows the old path of the logging railroad in Shevlin Park. Then they returned along Tumalo Creek. It was close to town and pleasant, so everyone felt lucky to have such a park as a readily available resource.
