Seven CONC members snowshoed from Swampy Lakes Sno-Park on Sunday, Jan. 28.
“It was a pleasant walk in ridiculously warm weather for January,” says group leader Susan Sullivan. “The snowshoers definitely outnumbered the skiers out for the day, and it was a good choice given the conditions.”
The photo immediately below and to the left shows a downed tree on Swampy ski loop. Susan reports that club volunteers were planning to head out on Monday to clear trees on Swampy loop and perhaps other trails, as there have been a number of downed trees reported.
