A number of hikers went out to the spectacular Canyon Creek Meadows on Sunday, July 14. They were a bit late for the bear grass, and a bit early for the flower show, so a fair number of people aimed for the Three Finger Jack saddle instead. This required crossing snowfields and some loose talus, but resulted in a spectacular view and a bit of goat watching. A great time was had by all, particularly since there were no injuries on the cross country trek to the saddle.
