CONC members went on both ski and hiking outings on Sunday, March 31.
Jerry Sebestyen led a spring ski trip to Big Meadow.
“Great bluebird day,” Jerry reports. “A little icy in the trees but soft on the return trip. Great view of Bachelor and Broken Top at lunch. Five people on trip. Three of them had never been to Big Meadow.”
Meanwhile, Shari Hogshead reports that four CONC skiers enjoyed good conditions Sunday morning on roughly five miles of trails at Meissner Sno-Park on the final day of grooming there.
A group of hikers went to the Otter Bench trail near Crooked River Ranch.
“Beautiful day,” says hiker Cliff Mitchell. “Sunny, balmy with good views of Crooked River.”
