The Club had a great turnout of volunteers over the past couple of weeks to help get the firewood in at the Nordeen and Swampy Shelters. Sue Sullivan said, “We’re happy to report that both shelters are now stocked for the winter season. Now all we need is snow!”
Both Shooting Star Shelter and Swede Shelter have new metal roofs and new stoves. CONC volunteers plan to stock the Swede Shelter with wood during the next couple of weeks, weather permitting. This year, the Meissner Nordic Ski Club folks will be stocking wood at the Shooting Star Shelter.
