CONC skiers had a Super Ski to Todd Lake on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 3, thanks to several inches of fresh powder.
“There were eight skiers along on the trip to and around Todd Lake,” reports group leader Jerry Sebestyen.
“The new three to four inches of snow made the ski conditions perfect. It was windy around the lake and the temperature got colder as the day progressed.
“The team erected a ‘you are here’ sign (see above photo) near the lake.”
Jerry was referring to an effort by the Nordic club to place signs — with maps and a marker showing where a skier or snowshoer is standing — at a number of intersections out of area sno-parks. See related story on CONC website.
