Dennis Krakow continued his Wednesday tours on December 18 with a figure eight of sorts from Beginner loop in Swampy and over to Nordeen loop in Meissner. Five folks followed him as we went off trail into the weightless “pow” to catch the road section of Swampy loop and a fast, silent glide downhill. There they transitioned to Nordeen and again went off trail for a short, fun downhill on an untracked road to Tangent. After the Tangent “S” turns, they cut back to Nordeen on the tie trail to the Nordeen shelter for lunch and excellent views. The return to Swampy Lakes Snow-Park was short and a sweet conclusion to a fun tour!
