Susan Sullivan skied the Swampy Lakes trail system alone on Sunday, May 12. She had sent out an invitation to anyone interested in joining her to put “you are here” signs away at the Swampy trail system. She said the skiing was actually pretty good, as long as she was willing to think outside the blue diamonds and ski off the trail occasionally.
Susan noted that the Swampy Shelter sure looks different with less snow! And the melting snow revealed that there is still a good supply of firewood to start next season.
She stated that “the skiing is now officially done for the season at Swampy.” However, there are still some signs to put away for the summer at the Dutchman trails so if anyone is interested in skiing let her know.
