This Sunday, December 15, promised to be a good day for skiing, as we got a few more inches of fresh snow and the weather forecast was for a high of 30 degrees. Susan Sullivan led a group of 8 out South Swede ridge from Swampy SnoPark, with a return via Bitterbrush, Gentian and Tangent; around 7 miles. A bit farther up the mountain, four gals went on a “short and sweet” ski down to Todd Lake. Snow was as perfect as one could imagine; dry and powdery, with clear skies and no wind.
