The hike from Todd Lake up onto the Soda Creek Trail and up to Broken Top Trail was perfect on Sunday, August 25. Nine hikers, led by Linda Frost, went at a leisurely pace up and back for 7.5 miles. The trail has old growth hemlock, streams with wildflowers, and great views over all the lakes south down to Diamond Peak; although Sparks Lake looks more like a meadow right now!
