Rain did not deter CONC members on Sunday, April 7, as they hiked the area of Tumalo State Park and Riley Ranch Nature Preserve.
“I took a chance on meeting the Riley group at nearby Riley Ranch Nature Reserve, but I missed the connection because they started at Tumalo State Park,” says hiker Thom Iverson, who snapped these photos. “I joined them at the intersection of Tumalo Creek and Deschutes River and we had a lovely slogfest on upper-lower Riley and Tumalo Park on this rainy spring day.”
Rain started getting intense at the Riley parking lot, he adds.
